What you need
1 Game Master
Any device (phone or laptop) to create the game, start rounds, and score answers.
2-6 Players
Each player uses a phone or computer to enter answers. 3+ players is recommended for the best game flow.
1 Public screen (recommended)
TV/projector or a shared screen to build the drama. Optional.
Quick start
1. GM creates a game
Open /gm/create, choose language and round settings, then create the game.
2. Open the public display
On a TV/projector (or screen share), open /public/CODE.
3. Players join
Scan the QR code or open /join/<CODE>. (Fallback: open /join and enter the 6-digit code.)
4. Play rounds, then validate
GM starts a round, everyone answers for 60 seconds, then the GM reveals and scores answers category by category.
During a round
Timer
A 60-second timer runs on all screens. The GM can pause/resume, and players can also stop the round early once ready.
Answers
Type one answer per category starting with the round letter. Your draft is saved locally as you type.
Validation and scoring
Validation
After the timer ends, the GM reveals answers one by one, resolves debates, and assigns points. Duplicates are detected automatically.
Scoring
- 2 points for a valid, unique answer
- 1 point for a valid answer that multiple players submitted
- 0 points for invalid/empty answers
Tips
Public screen
Use a TV/projector when possible. Open /public/<CODE> and leave it up during the game.
No public screen?
Players can switch to the Public View (fallback mode) during validation to follow along on their own device.
Troubleshooting
If someone can't connect: double-check the 6-digit code, refresh the page, and make sure everyone is using the same site URL.
